Our History
There are two histories because we are now one church in two locations. Formally City Church, Edinburgh and the Bridge Christian Centre have formed Hope!Church and trust that with God's help they will become large growing centres adding other centres in the future.Edinburgh
The Rogers Family came from Australia and planted (started) City Church, Edinburgh. Glenn and Terri-Ann are credentialed ministered with the Australian Christian Churches of which Hillsong and Planetshakers are two of the biggest churches. Glenn and Terri-Ann's children quickly became important leaders in the new church which has moved a number of times before currently moving into a fantastic venue.Musselburgh
Formed in the 1930s, Glenn and Terri-Ann took on the leadership role in late 2008. Since then there have been some dramatic changes as the church seeks to position itself as a relevant, contemporary, exciting 21st century church. A significant step was in Easter 2009 when there was a funeral for the church on Good Friday, where people buried all the negative issues of the past, and a resurrection service on Resurrection Sunday under a new name, new culture and new vision.What We Believe
